I think if he comes back and stays healthy hes worth it. Its a big if, but also like any job people are paid on past performances too. A regular job pays you based on your previous performance with hopes that you will continue or excel in that performance. Nothing different
If this guy worked at a car assembly line and couldn't work for 3 years he wouldn't have been paid full salary. Maybe workman's comp which is nothing.

They obviously don’t need him we’ve seen this play out 1 million times they have much better chemistry without them now and younger guys

Huh? The Warriors are the best team in the NBA right now. Once Klay comes back (which is any day now) they are a legit title contender.
