Ohio State can score on Bama and/or Florida... There's no team this year that's air tight in every phase.

Clemson might be the closest to a complete team but they're not as potent as some of recent past squads either.

Bama is head and shoulders better than OSU. ND, Clemson, Texas A&M, Florida I’d have ahead of them as well. I think OSU is on par with Cinci, BYU and Wisconsin. Yes Cinci. OSUs defense is pretty poor and the offense is one dimensional.

I dunno... I think the Buckeyes could win or lose to any of those first five teams you mentioned on any given Saturday. However I completely disagree with the notion they're on par with Cincy, BYU, and Wisky. The Buckeyes would annihilate the Bearcats. Cincinnati doesn't have the offense to expose Ohio State's weakness and keep pace, but that's neither here nor there.

Part of the problem is that Ohio State hasn't had the time yet to iron out the kinks. With the B1G starting late this year, and the Maryland game getting canceled, today is still only the 4th game the Buckeyes have played... Any other year and the 4th game would be the end of September.

Very true. The shortened season hasn’t helped OSU. But I also think playing in the awful B10 this year doesn’t help either. You don’t improve your game playing against shitty teams every week. I though Wisc might be a quality opponent but now, Indiana is the best team they’ll face. That’s not good.
