The Vikings are literally planning to play out with him as QB while gutting their roster in order to draft a QB and get as far away from him as possible. They are tanking and using him as a vessel in which to tank. I guess one could see him as overrated if they think that he should be a 3rd string QB. But most people have him in borderline starter land, and certainly in the bottom 3rd of QBs in the league.

Well...yeah. If you're saying he's better than the alternative, I might have to concede that, but they weren't exactly setting the league on fire before he got hurt, That includes the past few years as well. My question remains--what is the dude doing/going to do for the team other than 8-8 or 9-7 records, and first round playoff losses?

honestly I think he's done incredible since being in the league, the few games I watched in college they had him running a lot when I watched then rookie year in dallas he's slinging it around I had not seen that in college. remember he's a 4th round pick not 1st round, he wasnt supposed to be anybody's savior or anything somewhat of an afterthought. with that in mind and what he's been able to accomplish thus far is much more than anyone drafted that low in a long time, coming into the season he was 40-24, not many do that in first 4 yrs. we seen 1st round qbs never make it all the time and out of the league or 3rd string by year 3 or 4. his career passer rating is 97.5, thats 4th all time...in history. I think some things he's done thus far, like that stat just mentioned, people dont even realize
