i remember watching him in college, seems like he played forever. later he was the best QB in the AAF

Cowboys probably have a better shot at covering with him than Dalton but who knows if they even care at this point

All I remember about Garrett Gilbert is that he's the tomato can that came off the bench when Colt McCoy got hurt in the national championship game. The drop-off from McCoy to Gilbert was too much to overcome and Bama won it that year. Texas was the better team though before the injury.
