OP clearly doesn't follow baseball. Blake Snell has never pitched 8 innings in his career. He has nearly always been a 5-6 inning guy. His record is pretty good.

Cash can't help himself I would have never taken out Snell in that situation in a million years but he doesn't allow him to go through the lineup 3 times and is willing to lean on his bullpen at the first sign of trouble. Hope it doesn't backfire but I still wouldn't have done it with Snell dominating like he was.
