It's Cowboys vs Philly at the moment. That can't be the SNF matchup unless everyone else is in covid protocol. However it does look like the Cowboys are poisoning themselves with Jerry Jones Kool Aid before each game. McCarthy should be drinking it too.

I don’t think they can purposefully flex games. Would need the current Sunday Night game to have a Covid issue.

Normally it is later in the season. But the Cowboys are worse than a Covid issue so it will be done by hook or by crook. Jerry Jones may take snaps from McCarthy which would be a reason to keep it on SNF

NFL schedules all games.
