no he wasnt tanking. they supposdily were going to have a top 3 defense. but they are all old and slow

He has been awful. Losing a lot of money on his contract that is packed with incentives. From NBC- "Newton's incentives are tied to playing time: If he plays just 13 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2020, he'll [B]earn a $250,000 bonus, but if he's on the field for 90 percent or more snaps and New England makes the playoffs, he'll net a $3.75 million bonus."

It appears , while he sucks, if Bill puts in Stidham, who also sucks, Cam might not see any of this extra money. Forget about the playoffs. Pats will probably lose to the Jets.
