Heavy steam on Rice

do you feel this is mainly due to fading MTSU? i know Rice likes to play physical on offense and primarily run the ball, but they lost their top 2 backs from last season. also, their starting QB this year didn't have great numbers last year. they do have 2 solid WR's and return some experience on defense but their DL doesn't generate much pass rush

with the line up to -4 it's making me feel uneasy about backing them in their 1st game no matter how bad MTSU's defense is (and boy is it bad)

Line is pulling back a bit but this MTSU spread is still a pretty strong contrarian look as well.

Some of those moves represent strong RLM, in my opinion, and when I say that I am specific book wise about the information I have compiled.

It appears I won't beat the closer here but if MTSU does play with them then I anticipate the moneyline to be in question, not the spread.

At this stage, MTSU moneyline shows contrarian value, if that's your pleasure.

You said it, heavy pressure on the Rice moneyline and it's being mitigated to some degree by pressure on the MTSU moneyline, which constrains the spread rise.

If the books get too high of a spread but too low of a moneyline, they can put themselves in a SuperBowl type situation and add risk by skewing the market. Traders will pounce. For this game, though, I doubt the volume is too high across the board.
