Lifelong Phins fan here. Fitzpatrick has been good for the most part this year but once the games start mattering his play goes down hill big time. You look last year towards the second half of the year when the games didn’t matter he was slinging it all over the field. We beat New England in Foxboro last game of the year.....

Miami is 1 game back in the division. You know what you have in Fitzpatrick but let’s see what we got with Tua in some meaningful games here. I like this move

its one of those seemingly aggressive moves where youre doing ok but think u can do better. in most circumstances since youre fixing something that isnt broken then you better be right, only this is a little different since tua is the guy u drafted 5th and see as being the future and theyre looking at it like the sooner the better, the quicker the lumps the better. normally I dont like to see a guy doing well pulled and I like fitz, sometimes he's good sometimes not so much, he's 38 been in the league a long time and has only had 1 season where he finished with a winning record in a season that he started more than 3 games. looking at that history its probably easier to make the decision now, after all fins are 3-3 not like they are 6-0 or 5-1

why in the hell rush the kid??!!...Fitz is playing well enough and has kept Miami in playoff contention and near atop of the standings...Flores should take a page out of Andy Reid's book and just let Tua sit on the bench for his first year and watch and learn from the sidelines...give him a chance to study teams, coverages, game situations, and other nuances of the game...kind of like what Reid did with Patrick Mahomes in his rookie season when Alex Smith was the starter...and we all know what happened the following year when he was named the full time starter in his second year.

sure thing...in the meantime, while the kid struggles and figures shit out, Miami will lose games and there goes the season and playoffs right down the drain...yeah, makes perfect sense...yes, Fitz can be erratic at times but it is what it is...he gives the dolphins the best chance to win NOW, not later...and unless he really shits the bed and/or Miami is officially eliminated from playoff contention, Fitz is and should be the starting QB for the rest of the season...it will definitely be interesting to see how this situation unfolds and plays out.
