No they want to have a league itself with ONLY the top teams from the major leagues. Not what they do now with champions league. They would only play in that league.

Just read the article... That alot of money and said it will replace Champions League as top tournament

Can't imagine a English premier league without Man City and Man United and Liverpool it would make it unwatchable

They still play in the premier league.. Just a new tournament for top teams

The current proposal hurts the smaller clubs and gives more power by way of voting rights to the big six. Reduces the league by 2 teams, less league games. Reportedly Man U (Glazer family/TB Bucs) and Liverpool (John Henry/Red Sox) are the driving force behind this move. I'm sure that sits just fine with the local fans.
