The Football Team must be trying to get the number 1 or 2 pick again. Riverboat is under water.

Rivera is one of the worst head coaches in the league, and that is saying something. Just awful. No feel for the game. And the Giants new coach is lost too.

His defense dominated the second half, NY couldn't do anything on offense. The only scores they had were setup by Wash turnovers. Kick the extra point and play defense and go to OT.

I had NY -1 and felt lucky to get the push.

Why does he get glory for his Riverboat Ron name?

Seems like 90% of his gambles don’t work out

horrible play calling on that. just like the 2 pt conversion at the end by the eagles. looked like a pee wee call.

How is it Rivera's fault that Allen did a numbnut fumble return TD on a 3rd and 6 play he should of taken a sack on? Or, the pick he threw and Giant took over inside Washington 40. So, he has Allen, Smith coming back with a bionic leg, and Haskins and you expect Rivera to somehow fix the QB position?

Coaches revolve around QB play and to me he is a good coach in a bad situation at the moment. Washington Football Team (Cleveland Indians, Central Michigan Chippewas) has a decent future IMHO (good upcoming defense and o-line is on the up; McLauren good). Missing a few pieces and QB is one of them. Can Smith come back and be legit? I don't know yet.

Just saw the 2 point conversion attempt. That didn't look anything like a riverboat gamble. More like a ploy for the number 2 pick scramble.......again.

unbelievable. you go for 2 against the chiefs or the ravens, not the winless giants. just plain stupid.

He made an equally risky call to go for a 4th and 4 instead of kicking an easy FG and the Redskins ended up scoring a TD. If not for that call, the Redskins probably wouldn't have been in position to tie; he won one and lost one.

To me, with how inept both teams are there's probably a decent shot it ends in a tie. With the stupid rules and his crap offense he either has to give up the ball and hope for a stop, or hope they score a td. Seemed like a decent spot to gamble.
