why does SBR brass not post any updates as to or if there is an estimated time line on them being back up. Very very disappointed how all this being handled.

They definitely should have said if the pending bets were standing or if that data had been compromised. Many people probably had money on the games last night before the site went down. Say you had taken the Braves a lot of people would’ve hedged a live line On the Dodgers when the score was 2-0. They might’ve not being unsure if the wagers were still going to stand on Betonline. They haven’t given any update at all other than “as soon as possible” which we all really would have assumed.

If Betonline had been able to give SBR a better estimate of when, they would have told you publicly themselves.

I have to assume they just don't know yet. The way everything went dark at once makes me think they yanked it to stop a problem. Quite likely they are still making sure they know for sure exactly what happened, more than needing to fix too much.

My guess... perhaps the cyber attack defaced all of the data, for example the account balances, existing bets, live bets, and so on, now they have to recover all of that and piece the entire site back together again... and wont have it up until they are sure its right and it cant happen again soon.

For an offering this scale, automated jobs backup databases containing any accounts information. Additionally, they have backups in place to restore application/site state to as you would on your local machine. As they have explained, the wait is to identify attack that took/is taking place

All of the whiners and complainers make me laugh. It must be exhausting going through life like that, Until someone tells me that either BOL has run away or my account balance and pending bet data are permanently wiped out, I couldn’t care less. It’s senseless to worry about it in the meantime, People were saying 5Dimes wasn’t going to pay people, but that was obviously wrong because they were paying people. Now people are saying BOL is going to steal funds but that’s obviously wrong because they wouldn’t bother trying to convince us that they’re working on an issue.

Yeah it’s a little annoying but not the end of the world. There are plays this weekend that you like like? Just play somewhere else then, there are dozens of options. Whenn BOL comes back I’ll continue playing there because they are customer friendly and have some of the best selections and odds,
