I always play kang and taylor 1st round when I can. (Last week I didn't play kang and I believe he shot 3 under. I forgot where I read about those 2 but they are pretty solid in the first round. They are also always super cheap.

you do not get paid enough to talk about it when you have more than that risked

i would only do it for $250/week, with daily round updates

                  the thing is

if you name 3 guys on your lineup and get paid $50 per blog

and I see you in heads up contest $215 and dont like 1 or 2 of those

its very easy to accept your game

however, if i like what you wrote, then i avoid you and use your advice for others

                    In my opinion

This is the golden age of stats

I do not believe most know how to use stats

It is like when pokertracker came out and it was vpip and raise percentage

This is where you take advantage

And I am going to next year

Yes Rudy, and that's one of the reasons I haven't been real active in the beginning of this wrap around season. Stats have to be taken in context and we have some unkowns from previous years.

One of those is the Masters for 2020 is still going to be played. In the end, I didn't post much yet about the course or bets because of that.

Believe it or not, I'm using stats to make that decision.

I might strike LIVE this week though, if I can figure out the adjustment with a missing Johnson and Finau. It's the market stats that are holding me up.

Should be low scores this week but these guys are supposed to be in Southeast Asia right now, not on the Shadow Creek course.

BTW, Tiger and Phil played their match up here and the public can play for $500 a round. Wynn literally built hills and everything in the desert for the course.

I think it was Eldrick Tont who said this course looked like the Appalchians and the Carolina golf courses there.

I can post course info if you want, including the grass, etc., even if it is a little late. I can see that there is a ton of water on this course with perhaps water coming into play on half the holes.

Wolff and Schauffele are going to golfers to watch in many tourneys, as far as building a Sunday leaderboard, this season and I do expect Wolff to get a win in the early part of the wrap around season (maybe after winter, maybe this year). That's a macro look and a lot of future speculation though.

Wynn built this course for his high rollers

The last thing he wants them to do is play golf for free and shoot a high score

lol true. Nobody could play without his permission.

                            MGM owns the course now.

They have since lengthened it too. We have a more than 7500 yard par 72 course with uphill and dowhill holes.

Greens average 5500 sq ft this time and it's T1 Bentgrass with a Stimp of 12ft. These greens are tiered and that ball will roll. I would expect any shots with spin will grab and roll.

Those top approach guys, with a proximity to the whole ranking, could do well here.

The fairways have that fine textured 419 bermuda grass but I read it's also seeded with Ryegrass. The rough is essentially the same thing with a 3-4 inch cut.

I think the par 5's on the front 9 are both reachable and the two par 5's on the back nine are reachable for those long drivers, but water is there.

The 11th hole is another chance for strokes. It's a 300 yard par 4 and they are driving from an elevated tee box.

Like I said I'm looking to go LIVE but I want to see how things play out for at least a round.

Justin Thomas won this last year and he could do it again.

I do have a statistical implication for that, and for my sheet that result makes sense, but I need more to make a repeat champ bet. If we were further into the season with the same circumstance, I might pull the trigger on Thomas in this spot.

                              For now, we watch.

Was more of a sweat than I would have liked but ended up winning by 5.85. Lowrys double on 9 really helped.

Yep. actually it was 4 person. I was cruising the entire round until Morikawa, champ and Koepka all doubled 15 I believe. needed lowry to double his last hole and Thomas to bogey 18 to win.

In a few smaller tourneys today. Might play another big afternoon showdown still. haven't made up my mind yet.

                                    Who you like today?

Wolff sitting at the bottom, which is fine except Xander getting too much of a lead. Hopefully Hatton and close the gap a little and give us a decent number LIVE.
