Perhaps. Though of course if that was the motivation they could have just kicked FG instead of going on 4th down twice late! But still seemed rather suspicious - isn't it really bad etiquette to try to punch it in there/score last minute when you are up that many points instead of just running out the clock? Don't recall last time I saw a team do that.
