Will James take the shot to clinch the Finals and make it
last possession?
or will he drive and kick it out to someone to shoot a 3?

he kicks it out to Green
once again he comes up SMALL in the BIG MOMENT on offense
sorry...
but it's true
only down 1 and you can't drive and pull up for a mid range J to have an epic legacy defining shot of your career?

and?
he scored 40 and was hot from deep
but with 16 seconds left and his team down 1 he doesn't have ANY MOVES in his arsenal to set himself up for a pretty easy shot in or around the free throw line? to win a ring? for all the glory?
no.... he's hoping Davis will hit another 3 to clinch another game like he did in game 4
he's a pussy in the BIGGEST moments of the game
he just proved it once again
let me pass it out to Danny Green who is OF COURSE known for his EPIC CLUTCH shooting so he has to hurry up and force a 3 instead of James with his size, speed and strength getting himself open for a shot before he drives slows down to get doubled then throws it out to someone like a pussy
same damn move he tried in game 3 2017 vs Warriors when cavs needed the win and he passed it out and forced Kyle Korver to shoot a 3 from a coffin corner
then KD came down and splashed the big shot in James face to go up 3-0...

Dude relax. You're just putting every breath James takes under a microscope in search of a reason to flame him. He had back-to-back buckets on the previous possessions, including an and-1 three point play. Miami's whole team converged on James on the next possession. He made the right decision, giving Green a wide open look at the top of the key.
The Lakers are up 3-2 in the series and Lebron is a big reason why, obviously. The hate is a ridiculous.

He was triple teamed and made the right play to pass. Unfortunately he passed to a sack of potatoes who had no business playing crunch time in the finals. Might as well pur JR on the floor jesus christ

more excuses for James who drove into the paint with ZERO intention of actually taking a creative shot BEFORE he got surrounded
he is the most predictable player when it comes down to ONE shot or game is over... he drives to pass and nothing else
he slowed down, waited till the help came... then passed it out to Green
what did Butler do? he took the damn ball and drove in quickly with zero intention of passing and got contact and the foul call
he's afraid of the ULTIMATE MOMENT on OFFENSE
I have him pegged perfectly

Lebron can't win even with an asterisk year. If he collapses again it would be embarrasing.

You live in a fantasy world where if James isn't hitting a game winner that's fit for a montage set to confetti and violin swells, it somehow equates to failure. Let's see, throw up a circus shot in the face of three defenders just to pad your highlight reel, or kick out to a wide open player for a high percentage look and potential series clincher?
Like I said, ridiculous.

Wasn't LeBron or Green's fault. Weeders had the Lakeshow. They were destined to lose.

Lebron made the right basketball play which is why he’s led so many teams to the finals, year after year. But, I do agree with OP that the right play is not always the winning play. Lebron has made the right play so many times but the team ends up losing the game because a 3rd wheel like Green choked. Kobe and MJ was taking the last shot, even if it was a bad shot. Everybody in the building knows they are taking the last shot. They are telling their teammates to give me the damn ball and get out of my way. That’s where I think Lebron just doesn’t have that killer gene. He is a team first, people pleaser and gains excitement seeing Irving or AD make the final shot as much as himself. I also think he’s had a history of missing foul shots in crunch time, so he doesn’t want to create contact in the clutch. As a Cavs fan it pissed me off seeing him defer so many times. You’re the best player on the team. Take the shot and let the chips fall. If it was me, I’m not putting the game in the hands of Danny Green. Screw that. But I’m also no Lebron James, so while I criticize, I can’t claim to really know any better.

Green had a wide open 3 with no one within 10 feet of him. If he can't make that shot then he shouldn't be on the court

It was way off, but only a handful of guys make that look over 50% of the time. An open three is not a gimme shot.

If you are greatest of all time, you don't put yourself in a position to get double or triple teamed
