Heritage confiscates account balances due to inactivity
Digging through Heritages General Rules today and I found this. "All accounts inactive after 365 days are deemed closed and account balances are forfeited". What the PENETRATION!!? Do the offshore books got us by the short hairs like that? Somebody tell me this isn't standard practice. I concede that the length of inactivity mentioned wont ever be a problem for most of us,but damn.

Standard rule is the after 365 days balances become "dormant"

You need to contact CS to retrieve your balance.

It would be crazy if Heritage is really different.

They get bonuses if someone dies or goes to jail for longer than a year.

No worries. I lose my money LONG before it has a chance to sit there for a year.

Is this new? I remember when I took a long break (about 2 years) until 2017, and they re-opened my account with my ~$70 in it LOL.

Maybe they are tough on paper but just don't enforce it or maybe $70 bucks wasn't enough to wet their whistle.Heritage replaced 5Dimes for me so i hope it is the former.

A lot of gamblers died due to covid this year. Books should return money to widows instead of confiscating. It is the right thing to do.

Pavy, stop. Offshore books have never given a shit about what the right thing to do is.

This is a conjecture. If you disagree, prove it you goon.
