Then Astros vs Braves in the World Series and Astros win it all. I can’t really see it any other way, I think this is pretty much locked in. I would bet accordingly

Astros nearing a similar situation to the Pads.. running out of starting arms which would stress their pen too much in a 7 game series. assuming they can still close it out against the A's, it'd be very hard seeing them get past the Yanks/Rays

As an Astro fan I'm excited to see our swagger back. That said, I don't think we can beat the Yankees or the Rays this year. However, if Greinke and McCullers are pitching like they can, then we can beat anyone. That said, we have never seen Greinke on top of his pitches for an entire game since he joined the Astros. Usually we only see flashes of his dominant stuff. He's an awesome person though. With the Texans being an absolute embarrassment....it's nice to see the Astros distract us from them.

The Yankees lineup never intimidated us when we had Verlander, Dallas, Uncle Charlie or Cole & Verlander. Our pitching is nothing like it was the last 5 years. The Yankees look like an impossible matchup this year. Nobody here in Houston wants to face them. Everyone would rather take our chances with the Rays pitching staff instead of the Yankees offense. That 9th inning for the Yanks versus the Indians was epic. I'm a Yankee hater but had to give them props for that. I'm hoping we can finish off the A's today. We don't look ahead with this group. Things can change quickly for the 2020 Astros. I can't believe we are 4-0 in the playoffs. We have played so bad this season that there is no way anyone here would of thought we would be off to this type of start. A's could turn this around quickly but I feel so much better about this team now. The only problem offensively is Altuve isn't close to the same guy this year. We are also not as deep as the last few years. Our 8/9 hitters are pretty average.
