    Padres vs Dodgers
Boy am I excited for this team. I am a Pittsburgh boy and will always love my Pirates. However I’ve watched and followed Padres faithfully now for years.

Hands down best team they have put together forever. Better than the losing Workd Series team.

I got Padres to win the World Series at + 6400 months back. I also put some on them to win this series at+235.

Now as for game one if Clevinger can pitch 80 + pitches the pads will win game one. The pen is fresh for tonight. So less innings I believe they still can win game one.

I also believe Buehler is not fully healthy himself. He hasn’t pitched in a while. Tomorrow does concern me. If Kershaw pitches same as last game Pads will lose. Also Pads on the road verses lefties is a problem.

I would FULLY be shocked if Padres got swept.

So I will go with Padres tonight at a wonderful price of +152 BOL

    Game 1 Padres +152

I’m on padres game 1 and series. I disagree with your assessment on this team being better than the 98 team though.
That being said tatis is an absolute lightening rod. I’ve watch machado his whole career and that guy along with will Myers never showed emotion ever. And now with tatis these guys are so fired up. I think tatis is just locking the other guys in. It’s impressive

I used to go to Padres games back when Dave Dravecky, Tony Gwynn, and Steve Garvey were on the team. Good times. Hope they win.

Dodger lineup was lifeless against the Brewers outside of Betts but no one seemed to care. they had so many terrible AB's swinging at anything, tons of pop ups, etc.

i suppose it's possible they just realized how bad the Brewers' offense was and were fine beating them with minimal effort and not grinding out each AB, but those two games were extremely uninspiring from them

if Clevinger is truly healthy and can make two quality starts in this series (a big IF at this point), they'll have a decent chance. obviously there's a huge drop off from him to their other remaining healthy starters however. Pads pen will have to put in a lot of work this series either way, but if their bats can remain consistent they should be in each game

Clev is either way too amped up to be pitching again or he's still hurting some, his velocity dropped quite a bit throughout the 1st inning there and his release point constantly changed

Yeah Clevinger looked pretty wild. He was lucky to get out of that inning without giving up a run. Can’t imagine he can go very deep in the game coming off the injury.

They definitely rushed him back. Is Lamet back this series? They really need him to have a chance.

The Padres are all sizzle no substance.

Cute little team but they will get swept in this series.

Worse bet I’ve made in awhile. This team is finished. Doesn’t matter anyway astros just won the World Series, yanks going to quit on their playoff series this round so they don’t get embarrassed by the stros(example Clippers, Celtics style). Then Braves dodgers will play and honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the dodgers quit in the NLCS so they don’t get embarrassed in the World Series. Going to see a lot of teams ducking from getting smacked in the face by the Astros. That’s my prediction. Probably crazy whatever
