To be technical it's spot-fixing rather than match-fixing. It's much more difficult to prove than match-fixing unless the authorities can prove a money trail or get a confession. I don't feel sorry for books that take sizeable bets on minor player props. Ultimately this is why books have such arduous KYC regulations.
