I cannot put serious money on the Falcons, even if it is a must win.
A buddy of mine from Atlanta put a futures bet on Atlanta when we were in Vegas prior to the season they went to the Super Bowl. I think he laid $60 to win like $9,000. I begged him to hedge his bet the entire 2 weeks before the game. He said he didn’t want to jinx them by betting against them. I called him before halftime and told him that he could have hedged with I think only $200 at half with that huge lead. I said, “dude, you will win $9k either way. Hedge your damn bet. He refused. Well we all know how that turned out. His phone was off for about a week before he finally came out of the house.
