Well the Padres didn't make it easy but they lived to see another game. It should be an interesting elimination game because it'll be all hands on deck and everybody seemed to be used today.

yeah reading the Pads board right now some of their fans are suggesting Richards as the starter tmrw, i guess that makes sense. Pads drained their pen in game 1 as well so this is such a tough spot

it's such a shame that the Pads lost their best 2 starters for this series (and maybe longer if they advance), they are loaded to the gills offensively and have some intimidating monster energy

that was like a bigtime heavyweight fight tonight with these two slides slugging it out and hitting rockets everywhere, whereas this Brews/Dodgers game is the polar opposite

The Padres have been doing this all year. They win games with their offense and they lean heavily on their bullpen. My guess is who ever starts will have a very short leash on both sides but especially the Padres who rely on that bullpen no matter who they trot out there.
