The Cub game just put my daily fantasy line ups in a state of confusion.

I have Darvish and Anderson at DraftKings as my SP's and Darvish at FanDuel.
Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull anybody) did me proud earlier but now I have to swap out Darvish with Kershaw.

If Kershaw is right I am fine, but it's the playoffs so I have to hold my breath.

Darvish was affordable, and even if he gave up 3 earned I'd get it back with his 6 or 7 K's.
Darvish IMO was a value play in the dailies, but now we'll never know,

It's homerun heavy for batters and K heavy for pitchers.

You're better off with a high volume K pitcher that gives up 3 earned than a good low volume K pitcher that gives up 1 earned.
However if your starter gets shelled you're dicked.

On offense you pay up for HR's.
But speed pays off as well.

Nasher I wrote a bit about that Total tonight...

...The Total is in a similar situation. We can even look at the public gauge of 38 points to see why. Tickets are more split here for sure, in line with the stacking forecast, and the only thing I can really say is that respectable money did get down on the OVER.

The move off of 40, and onto 41, then off of 41 must be respected and I know it wasn't the "public tickets" that made that line move. Understand that the most common Total score in the NFL over the last 20 years has been 41, and 40 is 6th on the list.

These are key numbers that we have gone off of and through with that Total. That takes money in the NFL...

Things are pretty split now as far as tickets and money on the TOTAL, as far as I can tell.
