Thankfully the extra innings rule from the regular season is not in effect in the postseason. I hated that rule in the regular season both as a sports bettor and a fan because I felt it led to too many cheap wins.

Cubs break the ice against the Marlins on an Ian Happ solo shot to left. Reds send the game to the 12th inning making this the first game in postseason history to remain scoreless through 11 innings.

The Reds squander another big opportunity in the 12th with 2 men in scoring position. I'm glad I didn't take a side in this game because I'd be stressing right now. I do have 2 Reds futures though one to win the pennant and one to win the World Series so I am pulling for the Reds but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost today because they've wasted so many scoring chances.

The Reds have to win this game. They've pitched unbelieveably well today and to have nothing to show for it would be damaging psychologically and put a ton of pressure on Castillo tomorrow to twirl another gem.

Absolutely brutal the Reds have another opportunity with the bases loaded and less than 2 outs and fail to score. This has just been painful to watch no matter who you're cheering for. I guess if you like pitching then this has been one of the best games ever but this has just been brutal to watch these two teams fail time after time to manufacture runs.

The Reds are going to be shell shocked after this loss. It really hurts because this is one they should have won. I think they're done unless Castillo and the bullpen find a way to completely shut down the Braves tomorrow. This offense is not good though they can't manufacture runs and that is so important in the playoffs.

Castillo is very good but yeah, gonna be hard for them to bounce back after this and nearly impossible to back with money in this spot

Just turned the Cards game on and they're already up 3-0 in the 1st. Good I'm on the Cards who I went with because Paddack has been shaky this season. The Padres are never out of a ball game with their lineup but their pitching staff is suspect with all the injuries they're dealing with.
