3 higher seed home teams, who stays alive... if any?

    some incredible streaks going..

    - Twins have lost 17 straight playoff games

    - Indians haven't won a playoff elimination game since the '97 World Series

    - A's are 1-11 in their last 12 playoff series since '92

I'd say the only team I'd have some interest backing is the Twins.

        pitching notes..

        - Astros starter still undecided but Berrios doesn't exude confidence either

        - Keuchel the grizzled playoff vet vs. Bassitt in his 1st career playoff start

        - Tanaka vet vs. Carrasco in his 3rd career playoff start

A series best out of three is always a crapshoot regardless of who’s playing

2 out of 3 is tough. one loss and you are on the brink.

i think the white sox and yankees end it. twins might win but17 straight losses has been beaten to death in the last 15 hours. that might just be in their heads and cause nervousness.

2 out of 3 is still better than one and done which is what the Wild Card round normally is.
