Had the over as well. joe's o-line sucks. Other o-lines are almost as bad, but Joe needs a little time. One could say, sure any QB would love that luxury, but Joe can do more with a little time than others...Bengals need to invest heavily in one.

I had a bad beat years ago on the final leg of an eight-team parlay during bowl season because I lost an Under in triple overtime that was good as gold in regulation, and was still good in the first two overtimes, but finally busted in the third. You couldn't have scripted a worse beat lol. I still remember it was Florida State vs. Penn State. Just brutal.

It's funny, I was talking to a buddy of mine earlier and told him about all of the money I lost on the game(mainly just parlays) and he couldn't believe how calm that I was over it.

Over the years, you kind of ust get conditioned to losing and winning plays by .5 a point that you just accept it.

My wife was all bent out of shape last week over Zeke not getting his rushing yards by 1 for $15, meanwhile I got lucky as fukk that Dallas got the ball back with that onside kick, and I hit his rushing/receiving prop for over $100 by 1. I was already accepting that I had lost the bet.

Losing crazy shit is just part of gambling. You get used to it.

Yep, the bad beats become an occupational hazard you just accept over time. That parlay I'll never forget, though. It wasn't just the fact that it took three overtimes to beat my Under, but also the fact that the leg to bust the ticket was the final leg of eight. And these were bowl games, so they were all spread out over the course of a couple weeks. I had to sweat through 7 games that came through one by one only to have it collapse on me in epic fashion on the final leg. It would have been a prime spot to hedge, looking back, but I was still wet behind the ears at the time and I just let it ride. Plus, I thought the final leg was actually one of the stronger ones. NCAAF overtime rules buried me in the end.
