Of course he knows, I tell that kid a lot about life @ in early age. He just moved back in with me recently. His mom & I got a divorce over 4 years ago & she moved to Cornfield Iowa & he absolutely hated it. He’s a city boy like his father. It took some time to convince his mom to allow him to live down here with me though. Now his mother on the other hand thinks I still make money as a electrician or she wouldn’t have approved the move. My son and I have a special relationship that his mom will never have & now I get my chance to raise him to be a man. I remind him on a consistent basis do not choose to be a professional gambler as your profession at any point in your life, do better be better there’s no guarantee with this shit EVER. He’s a huge sports fan like his dad so he may dabble with this lifestyle a bit for fun. At his age I was handicapping sports from the sports section in newspapers and my father used to bring home parlay cards for me to fill out as well at 13. My father was a gambler but never did it on any kind of professional level, just for fun & he’s in the red for sure. It’s all good he could afford to lose the money. He was a electrical contractor for the union down in Miami for 40 years.
