the hungry and out to prove something healthy Cam Newton is intriguing

I have to stay away from NE until we see how all this actually translates in real game action

I can see taking the points. I don't trust Belichick to much, he doesn't care much about first 8 games, he has even stated that himself. Last 8 count for the playoffs, although, nobody wants to lose to a division opponent.

The division has had its problems over the entire Pats run.
The true #s suggest that it wasn`t near as bad as represented, as when you take N.E. games off the records, Jets, Bills and Phins have actually combined for close to a 50% win rate against the rest of the league.

Haters are always going to point out Pats had the easy road to the Championship game. Sure, it could have been tougher, but they still went to all those S.B.s beating the rest of the A.F.C.

Yeah, I'm all over the Fins today. Miami has this game circled on the calendar as they have players from New England off of last year's team. New England is ripe for another upset. Don't worry about the revenge factor from last year's final. The same thing will happen today with the exception that Miami has a much better team and New England will have their usual early season issues.

That statement was literllay Kool Aid put out by the talking heads. I didn't think anyone with any sense would have lapped up that drink.

The statement makes no sense and when the Pats get some losses this year, many will cling to that ridiculous statement as if it were the true cause.
