OK. This is what I see. The numbers are saying this might be a good pitching match up. Both pitchers have had 2 straight quality starts. Burnes has 53 K's in 38.1 IP with a nice 1.04 WHIP. His 2 highest pitch counts have been in his last 2 decisions (90 and 93 respectively). He has definitely been a pitcher on the uptick.
Boyd started out as the same old Boyd we've seen the last 2 years, but has improved as the season has gone along. His ERA has gone down from 10.24 to 6.64 over the last 4 games. He has 29 K's in 21 innings of work in those 4 games.

I'm going the other way. Tigers have scored 25 runs in the 3 games they have played against the Brewers this year. Also, this is not the Matthew Boyd that we are accustomed to so I would think sooner or later he is going to go back to his old "gas can" self. The fact that pushes me this way is the number. This could just as easily be a push with the even number, and +110 seems like a payout worth taking the risk.
