Matteo Berrettini vs Andrey Rublev in the tennis
Rublev the better hard court player for me and his career been building upto this point finally, i cant see Berrettini beating him here and ruining it all.

I think Berretini runs away with it. Rublev has beaten nobodies so far and always loses to Matteo.

interesting match-up. I think Berretini has a higher ceiling for one day of Tennis at this point in his career. New York seems to bring it out of the Italian - go figure...Rublev is Russian. unmerciful. They do their dirty work and live life in different sorts of ways..

Rublev reminds me of david ferrer. Would never bet against him.

                  Let’s not go that far....

Berretini made him his bitch last us open. He couldn’t easily won the first set 6-2 and then who knows the mindset of rubles. I thought I was facked for sure: that match is as close to a coin flip as they come. Congrats if you called heads

I don't think you will think it's that far fetched in a few years. He's strong mentally and has a very good game. Last years US open he was just getting his game going at that point, so probably wasn't ready for that level of competition, but he has obviously since figured it out and upped his game to compete. I think he will be like Ferrer and be able to take himself to near the top despite his lack fo physical stature, but will always struggle with the best of the best. He will probably go down to Medvedev next round, just like Ferrer probably would in same situation.
