As someone who did their only jumps solo as a learner, this doesn't look too scary for a first timer.

Pushing yourself off the ledge and out of the plane first time is a bit of confusing experience. This would be a cake walk in comparison.

Unless he passes out of course.

He didn't put the parachute on until he was up around 8K feet in the air.
