How Much Does The Average Person Care About Today's NBA?
Twice as many people watched every documentary episode about Michael Jordan and the 1990’s Bulls as have watched any NBA playoff game so far this year.

Even though I got $5560 to win 17K on a LAL/MIL Future at this point I would gladly they rather put an end to this shit (even though they just announced it will resume..surprise surprise LeBronda taking another bullshit stance to cancel the postseason much like SHE said SHE wouldn't play without fans..CRINGE) & just have 5dimes refund the $5560 back to my account. Short story long with my luck MIL/LAC mortal fukkin lock!

That’s because Save the Last Dance was the NBA. People loved the game back then and had a profound respect for Michael Jordan and the guys in that era.
People don’t respect the players now nor should they. It’s a shame that with Lebron’s talent, he’s ruining his legacy by doing what he’s doing. He’s become one of the most hated athletes in sports and his image has taken a beating. I used to like the guy just a few years ago and have completely changed my opinion of him now.
But the NBA has lost its fans. It should get down on its hands and knees and thank ESPN because they’re the only ones keeping them somewhat relevant.

North Carolina love the college basketball here and the fans go wild for it, but on the flip side most could give a rat ass about the nba, the nba is not a good watch these days......until the nba brings back defense and play real basketball again it will only get worst imo.

I think the NBA died after the Shaq/Kobe/Payton/Malone Laker season.

this is a great example that today players do not play for the love of the game itself.

Average person doesn't care about the NBA. I haven't gone to a Timberwolves game since fall of 2017 and that was to see the new updated Target Center. Who wants to see 150-140 games where they play no defense? Have not watched any games since the games started back up. Will be interesting to see what free agents get next season. With covid-19 and less people watching, you would think the contracts will be a lot less as the owners are losing a ton of money now.

T'Wolves & Lynx are about to sell. Jesus who would want to buy an NBA franchise now? Now every time some thug gets shot owners have to do a conference call with the players, and presumably the players get to see which owners are sympathetic to their cause and which ones aren't.

Can't imagine being a cop in America where citizens carry guns yet you're not allowed to shoot first. Few speak up for them. I think of that Foo Fighters song There Goes My Hero... it's about the regular people of life that are the fabric of society: nurses, firefighters, teachers etc - ironically very popular at sporting events - not some dickhead that can do a triple double.

The schedule went from 2 prime time games to 4 a day some of them very early, I would say bad ratings but there are a lot of variables.

We're here to bet this shit, not be fan boys. That said, from a sports and sports betting standpoint I am as big a fan now as I have been in a long time.
Anyone who saw the KVB NBA Contrarian Aggresssive Trader open up this year saw how big the profits can be when we swing trade.
We are losing business here.
But these NBA playoffs were anything but a bad product. Even with the blowouts there have been all stars on nearly every team in action. The talent isn't concentrated and outside of officiating sometimes you just can't ask for more than that these days.
NBA Bubble Play was pretty electric at times.
And some of those virtual fans were pretty rowdy, especially those guys downing the beers.
