Legend Lute Olsen in hospice care
Had a stroke in February, isn't doing well.

    True legend of our time.

    All the best, Papa Lute!

Played in a AAU tourney in Vegas right after they had won the title with miles Simon. Got stuck in the elevator with him at the tropicana.Guy couldn’t had been nicer and more down to earth and talked to me the whole ride down.Hope he will make it out ok.

I have a picture I took with Lute years back at a NBA summer league marketing event. Spent about an hour with him, Rick Carlisle and Chuck Daly. Incredible guys. Great guys. Couldn’t have been nicer. One of the memorable times of my life. We drank beers and talked like we do on here. LOL. Well, sorta.

Wonder what Stevie (Kerr) will say about Lute. Have to think Steve is a reflection of Lute.

Remember how DOMINANT Arizona was at home? McHale's Navy. RIP, Lute.
