        I was thinking about early 80s and he had 46 and a few other 40s, but no 50.
        The 46 point game, he was 1/3 3pt. How times have changed.

                  Three times in history, Gold...

                  Donovan Mitchell did it this year against Utah with 57 and then 51 points (but you know that).

                  Allen Iverson did it in 2001 against Toronto with 54 and then 52 points.

                  Michael Jordan did it in 1988 against Cleveland with 50 and then 55 points.

                    Also, with Mitchell scoring 51 and Jamal Murray scoring 50 points I think we have the first time in the playoffs that opposing teams had a player with 50+ points.

                    I think. The search was a bit crude and I had to scan with my eyes...lol.

                    If I'm wrong, and there's more, there aren't very many more.
