1. Arod makes a great point. He should have had a bigger lead off first with the first baseman playing way back.

Right. He could've been off first by at least 2 more feet maybe more. Still think the plate was blocked because that throw was off line. I think that's a run. Either don't have that rule or call it the way it is. Where could the guy slide to score?

I didn't pound them but took them when they were down 4-0 to come back and win at only a +199 clip because runners were on base. I didn't even see this thread until now. I would've faded my idea of betting them to come back.....dammit.

I was on the Braves and over so it killed me but I believe it was the correct call. The catcher didn’t block the plate intentionally and wasn’t set up there. He just followed the ball which made him unintentionally block the plate
