Because Murray had him off balance and would've skated by him for a layoff otherwise. It was likely two points either way.

Right on, thanks. Would have rather wasted the extra second or two off the clock. Just thought it was a dumb spot to foul when the 2 pts didn't matter either way. Nuggets were out of time outs, basically gave them one.
