I actually have to disagree with regular season means nothing. Some teams naturally match up well against others and this is an added bonus for the Islanders.

The Flyers aren’t that young, their 2 best players Giraux and Couterier are both past their prime and not scoring at all. The Flyers were always a second tier team they just played harder than other team during the end of the regular season.
