just like a normal job, to be really good at it, you got to devote most all your time into it, wives, girlfriends hurt most guys at the top of the list imo more than most guys know......when you work the games you either need 100% into it to get the best results, then when you do take time off like a weekend ect, dont even think about it until you are 100% back into it................but again what may work for one person may not work for the next person, sport betting is hard work if you really want to win in the long run

Most bettors go broke because they bet on something as imperfect as the bounce of a ball without an edge.

Once you realize you dont have an edge and are just throwing darts, you should stop gambling.

But we dont, just a part of gambling. I dont like to lose at poker and sports (all I play) but I like gambling, it's a rush.

I think the bigger issue is NOT knowing you're just a degen and thinking youre this pro gambler who should actually be betting so much. That's pretty sad.

Volume is ok as long as the VALUE is present and reduced risk. Its for guys that are middle in the stage for lay/bottom line strategy. Its a very educational experience and time

I remember one time when a guy won a monthly jackpot at a poker table i was at. It was for like 25k. We were all ecstatic for him.

He kept playing the next day. I asked him, why keep playing? You made 25k. He said he gave it to his daughter for college. He said , " some of us aren't here to make money, just for the rush. This is an addiction"

I'll never forget that. Decades later, i understand.

JJ is sharper than his clown persona here but he still didn't meet me in Vegas - I can't take him seriously. Now I doubt I'll ever see the guy.

The funny thing is that several years back I had a trip to Vegas planned where JJ was there, and because of 120 degree weather they shut down the flights for a weekend, JJ yukked it up and called me a fraud. Then he didn't meet when I was there with booya, lol

If I had to pick gamblers anonymous, alcohol anonymous, narcotics anonymous or some rehab place for love of hookers I’d probably give up everything except gambling.
