I am not a "wanan-be tough guy." I am a full-blooded Southern female who could kick your scrawny ass from here to Montana and not break a fingernail.

Second, it must suck to be so freakin' miserable all the time. I wouldn't know cause my kid is happy because they won their football game 23-0!!!

We followed safety protocols. They allowed 1/2 the capacity into the stadium. People sat with their families or maintained social distance. Concession stands were closed and people told to bring their own snacks with them. We used the GoFan app for tickets.

It wasn't that difficult to do.

I live in Salt Lake City. Uof U IS a heavily liberal school. As strange as it sounds Salt Lake is a heavily liberal city (not the suburbs of course). Every third house has a gay flag on its porch. One of the largest gay populations outside of SanFran. Im not sure what effect politics have on decisions to cancel football (I think it is small at best), but you are wrong QH. UofU is very liberal indeed.

The entire issue about conferences allowing football this fall is about GAMBLING. Not pointspreads, but the chance that something catastrophic will or will not happen. Nobody knows. Some look at the data and say roll the dice, others take the chips off the table. Many think they know.... but nobody really does. Maybe the Big10 and Pac12 will look like fools, maybe they will look like wise old sages. We will see in about 3 months.
I think this "spring schedule" stuff is crap. WONT HAPPEN. Can the pac12 really play a football game in june in Arizona??? Playing in 100 degree heat is more dangerous than covid. After the spring season do we then start another season in 3-4 weeks? IMPOSSIBLE.
