For Del Mar Race 4

This is a Maiden claiming race for fillies and mares 3y/o+

8f on the dirt

Most of these horses have little experience so I am focusing on the ones that have a few races under their belt
The two I sort of like based on previous experience are the 6 Gotta Be Lucky and the 11 True Mischief

These two have both placed or showed in an 8f race on dirt at this level before - the both hit the board 8/2/20 at del mar.

I watched the replay and True Mischief ran second the entire race but was just out classed by the winner and 6/5 favorite. Gotta Be Lucky ran a pretty lackluster 3rd

So we go with the 11 True Mischief

The only thing I don't love is the post draw but we'll see what happens.

Fav is currently 6/5 and I do not agree with that pricing so looking for value.

6 Money Back races today

5,9 at Saratoga
3,7 at Del Mar
10,11 at Charles Town

Money back on show is only good for races with 8 or more horses. The first race at Saratoga only has 8 starters as of right now so if there is a late scratch, money back will only be for second.

Saratoga R5 is maiden special weight race for 2 y/o fillies 5.5 furlong sprint on the dirt

I think the safe play here is the 2 with a m/l of 2/1 but we will watch the odds as the race gets closer. These races are a bit of a crapshoot so these are often where you see big longshots hit. There's just not a lot of info on how the horses. Post time is 12:28 Pacific.

I am conflicted on the next one. The 1 Sweet Melania is 8/5 and I feel like probably the best horse but there are two others that I think are contenders. So if we want to play around and take a shot I like the 3 and the 10. The 10 - Sugar Fix has been racing at lower levels but is 6/8 in her last 8 with the other 2 races placing second. That's pretty ridiculous form even if the class isn't quite where this race is at (100k stakes)

At 15-1 on the morning line I think I might take a shot on the 10 Sugar Fix.
