Interesting race 7 today at Gulfstream
Oddsmakers installed a heavy favorite #7 at 7/5 and I am kind of scratching my head a bit on that one. Looks to be the best of a crappy field but not by much and frankly in an 8f race anything can happen.
# 6 unimpeached is 20-1 on the ML and has finished 4th a few times against stiffer competition.
#11 Not So Easy is 4-1 on the ML and every time I bet against the offspring of Munnings, it feels like I am losing.
I think probably for the MBS I will play the 11 but if the 6 stays at 20-1 I will probably throw that horse in a few bets.Comment -

Gulfstream R12 - similar type race as he first one at GS. Maiden claimers running 8f on the turf. I like the 6 but could make a case for a few others. I like the 7 as well for a piece of the top 3 but playing the 6 to win.

2 MBS races today and a few (5?) tomorrow

6f dirt sprint maiden claiming
Chalky favorite izhefrosted 1-1 on the morning line has come up second a few times and this is the second race after dropping in class. Being bet down to 3/5.
#6 Science has come up 2nd a few times against lesser competition but likes the 6f distance. Right now getting 9/2 so I am going to play this horse on the MBS
I hate betting chalky faves in these races for a few reasons but mainly because there are a few horses that have never run and it seems like some dog comes out of nowhere every time I hammer the chalk. The 4-1 to 6-1 horses seem to be my sweet spot so we go with SCIENCE
