of course! There's a few players here who have done well with the promo so definitely stop in when you feel like it.

None of the faves were in the top 3 so I really don't feel all that bad taking a shot. The 5 actually ran a decent second half but did not get the money back.

There are some races when there favorite is so far and away the obvious choice that it doesn't make sense to not take the favorite. Most times I just cap the race and play the horse I think had the best chance to win and balance that with the risk of maybe taking a horse that's slightly less likely to win at a really good price. It helps to narrow the tracks down since you get to know the horses and the line maker's tendencies.

There are some tracks where the lines maker is just not very good and it skews the way the public bets.

To your point though some of my bigger wins are taking the second favorite on the morning line and cashing big because the money moved to the chalk horse.

1st race at Gulf is a promo, so I’m going with #3 R U Lucky ( actually no). I also like the #6 Semper Fi, so I’m boxing 3/6 in a exacta. Don’t care for the favorite at all (#5 Captain D)

Prairie Meadows R11

I like the number 7 here at a price. The fav hasn't run this distance before and 8.5 Furlongs is a tough race for a sprinter.

I like the 3 also but the m/l on the 3 is 9/2. The 7 just beat the 3 in August in an 8f maiden sw race and is 15-1 on the m/l. That doesn't make sense to me. idk maybe i am off here

Promo running all day at Pimlico and a few races at Keeneland, one at Santa Anita. I played 4 races yesterday but was working and couldn't post. 2 chalk winners, 1 loss and one money back. Not counted for tracking.

Driving down to Julian today and spending time with the family so not sure how many I will play today, but good luck if you're playing.
