what imo is the way to do it on a daily thing.take the entire board on a given day, weed out the games on the outside of the bet chart and work on the games until you have 2 to 3 on a busy day down to the very best game on the bet chart and work the number how many time out of a 100 games will team a beat team b.it take time but anything worth while does, ...............it just like a normal job, if you only put in 8 hrs you are most times going to be average the people that put in the long hrs are the one that find that needle in the haystack........

Actually this isn't bad advice. It's the same for stocks. After a while you get the feel of how they trade.

But you do need some knowledge of the opponent and the lines.

                    At least it helps tremendously.

Next to the Rangers they are the most profitable team over the last 10 years.

The rangers have been more even keeled though, like the Yankees...another profitable team over the last decade.

If you bet the same unit on the A's the last two seasons you would be up about 45 units and this season up another 4.

The A's can be very cyclical and very volatile though. For example, you may be up 50 units or even more since the last part of 2017, but the four years before that saw a loss of more than 70 units.

That was a tough stretch for the Atlanta bettor as well, yet another profitable team.

The A's doing well this season though, they continue to pay but expect that to go more even over the short term.

All of this assumes betting the same amount each game. It gets worse for the bettor who won with a team, then increase the bet size for the losses. Betting the percentage of bankroll into even one season's volatilty can be devastating and turn profits into losses, depending on how often it's adjusted.

Betting blankly on a team can pay off, but you have be careful with how you bet or it can be costly.
