I haven’t seen anyone as dominant, especially in a sport so competitive. Maybe Lance Armstrong when he was on the juice. Hamilton is very underrated.

Its a rogue sport though So don’t ever really get the recognition there’s not enough people that do it therefore making it easier to get to the top

Must not be a lot of money or jealousy at stake. What would it take to bump him a time or two during a race to keep him from winning? Happens in NASCAR every week.

He dominates because it's at least 90% machine and at most 10% man, even if you believe it's a sport.

Just like indy car just about anybody can drive in a race if you pay an owner cash
They’re looking for people because it’s a sport that may be one person does per 300,000 people
Now if you compare that to a regular sport it’s maybe one out of every 10 kids

I would tend to agree with the exception of maybe 30% dude and 70% team. Look at what happened to Alonso when he was on a so so Formula 1 team. Sure the guy is out there and someone has to drive the car. He is very good at it, but lets not forget that the machine he is driving is at the top of the food chain in that sport as well.

I was thinking that today watching Hamilton.
The ones that popped into my head right away were Tiger in his prime, Nadal in France and Federer at Wimbledon. Obviously could say the entire careers of the three I mentioned as well.

What a coincidence, until today I have never heard of this guy in my life
The other time I'd heard about this guy was a video I saw him on YouTube, today
This will be the first and last day that I pay attention to everything this guy says or does

Dynasty. One funny story I heard about Lew Alcindor coming on campus as a freshman.
At the time, frosh were ineligible to play varsity, so he was on the Frosh team. UCLA (varsity) was ranked #1 in the pre-season. They played a practice game, varsity vs Frosh. Behind Alcindor, Frosh beat the UCLA varsity. That's how dominant this guy was.
Watch clips of young Alcindor as a Buck. So fluid, made the game look ez. Shooting a half-foot over his opponents made him impossible to stop.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Based on the 6 hours that I've heard of this guy,
He seems like the kind of guy that would fall over if the wind blew pretty hard
A beta male
He's definitely not going to get your back at a bar fight
So why are we talkin about this guy, we might as well be talking about kids playing video games- about the same amount of testosterone between the two isn't it?

All I know is that he makes 40 million a year, and some people have criticized him, and those people were called racist because of their criticism.

Because he’s good at what he does but since you don’t agree with him, you have to trash everything about him. Fukk off with your bullshit rant. Everything does not have to be political you dumb shit.

I still think Senna was better. And Jim Clark.
Sir Don Bradman would have to be in the talk for a person who dominated their sport to a level way above second best.

Lewis is great and all but Mercedes is so far ahead of the field this year I think if LeClerc or Verstappen were in his car they would achieve similar results

How many times has he won the Indy 500? I've heard of the guy but I couldn't pick him out of a lineup for a cash prize. I don't follow Indy at all but it's weird that someone as dominate in a sport as you claim and he's basically underground. I've never seen an ad on tv with him or anything like you see with other dominant athletes like Tiger and Federer.

Fastest car wins....anybody can drive it.
Put him behind another car and he's be a BUM.
Mercedes have been dominating Formula 1 since last 6 years and are continuing to do so, it's lead driver Hamilton is on the verge of equalling Michael Schumacher's championship record. The biggest reason for Mercedes' dominance is that its Chassis and aerodynamics design is beyond match. ..

Fastest car usually does not win. Everyone has a fast car.
