We will definitely not sweep the blazers. They can shoot. We can't

Not having home court ever will kill the bottom feeders IMO. They won’t have that jolt of going back home down 2-0. All neutral court games works against the teams that are overmatched.

Plus who wants to be in that bubble if they have no shot to win it all? Not gonna be surprised if all the 2-0 series after 2 games in round 1 are sweeps

If teams are evenly matched dont think sweeps will be common

But by the same token teams that would be down 2-0 in the traditional format, might get a split the first two games considering they won't have to hit the road. It works both ways.

If the dog could steal one though, they know they r going home for a 5 game series with home court. Now if they are 1-1, they still have to beat a better team in 5 games. They probably need to win 2 to think they have a real shot now, which makes it more an up hill battle. I’ve always felt being at home helped the worse team more than the better ones.

I don't think the dogs have any grievance with the neutrality of the bubble, it actually tilts the balance in their favor, being the team that earned home court has been stripped of that advantage. In the old format, the dogs absolutely had to win at least one road game to take the series; now they don't.
