    Fellas,

Need some help here. Is coinbase the best option as a wallet? Does this take forever? I've never tried this and it seems like the easiest path to get the money. I have about a half a chip sitting in an offshore book. I'm local to Vegas and would like to just liquidate it and get it an state side book. Any help or insight would be appreciated... and yes, I'm a jackass. It's been in a sportsbook.ag account for over a year. I know that book is awful. Thanks.

Gemini was pretty user friendly. I jumped into the bitcoin game 6 months ago and it was an easy enough transition

I've read in the past that Coinbase does not like transfers to gambling websites and will close your account if they find out. Perhaps someone else can update if this is still true. When I used Coinbase I always transferred to another wallet before depositing to avoid this. Now I use Airbitz and Edge.

Probably Coinbase. Customer service sucks though. Just don't make any mistakes in the registration process

If this is just a once off withdraw of Bitcoin, I would not go through the process of signing up to Coinbase, giving all your ID, linking your bank account, just to withdraw once.

Just get yourself a free wallet app on your phone, withdraw to that and then walk up to a Bitcoin ATM near you and take out the cash

            Loads of then in Vegas

Make sure you check if the ATM is deposit/withdraw as many are deposit (buy) only.

            1) install the Edge Bitcoin wallet app on your phone.
            2) Click receive in that app and it will give you an address to give to Sportsbook.ag
            3) Go to Sportsbook and click withdraw and it will ask you for that wallet address
            4) Once the transfer is confirmed, walk up to a bitcoin ATM with your phone and it will give you a code to scan to send your bitcoin to them. And cash comes out.

A bitcoin ATM will take around 9% in fees. Its the most expensive method.

Compared to Coinbase which will cost you about 2%

For simplicity and not giving SSN and ID to a regulated financial institution may be worth the extra cost to you.

I use Coinbase all the time for purchases. It ends up costing you about 5% by the time your done with your transfer if you’re using a debit card. It’s only worth it if you’re getting a sportsbook deposit bonus to offset the fees from Coinbase.

When I first started using BTC a couple years ago I used Blockchain as a middle man to send from Coinbase, to blockchain, to book. I only did this after hearing other people getting banned from Coinbase. However, the last year or so I send directly from Coinbase to book and have had zero issues.

I usually use Gemini when I cash out. I send from book directly to Gemini then cash out to bank. My funds are always in my bank account the next morning.

I like Gemini better than Coinbase as an exchange.

Check out the Bitpay card to spend your money. You can withdraw from book to edge wallet, then to Bitpay and be able to spend on debiit carrd. Can also use it to withdraw from ATM.

                        I would agree with this

I've grown tired of waiting hours for Coinbase to verify transactions.

I believe someone said they require more confirmations than other sites before your funds are available.

They actually still have my fee for the card. I forget what info I had to provide but I decided it wasn't worth it
