If Isles advance and you put 1k on Isles for example.....1k lands you 23k if they win cup. You could start to hedge in the conference finals if you haven't some already. Why would anyone not understand the value of that? You can't pick every team near the bottom but if you feel strongly about one of them why not? I would've faded hawks and coyotes and not considered them at all. That leaves me the Nucks, Isles, Jackets, Flames and Canadiens to choose from.

I don’t see much value in the NHL futures market right now, I hammered Tampa to win the East when they were +135 and -118, the only value to me is if I can get Vegas at +200 or better to win the cup since I don’t think Stamkos is coming back and Vegas has been a level above Dallas and Colorado.
