It's ultimately not their decision, but the season won't be canceled for a lack of player desire. Don't spin the narrative just because you couldn't read past the headline.
Find me that data. Last time I checked big ten and pac 12 players wanted slot of things before they considered playing. That is actual evidence. You just saying a lot of people want to play is baseless

You are completely detached from reality. The PAC12 and B1G cancelled because the powers that be decided as much, not because players were polled and it was determined there wouldn't be enough bodies to play this year. It was commonly understood that players and coaches wanted to play; the handful that didn't opted out.

You're manufacturing a debate that literally no one else having. Have fun with that.

You're a sucker for news fluff. If you think 13 players petitioning the league is what caused the shutdown of 26 schools in the two majors, and how many other mid-majors, then I have some Unobtainium from Pandora that I'd like to sell you for top dollar. Millions upon millions in revenue are suddenly cut off from these universities; you can rest assured they'd all be playing football if that petition was the only hurdle to having a season.

Furthermore, player safety was gonna be a priority regardless... kinda goes without saying. And the list of demands went beyond COVID fears so what's to stop students from making the same demands next year? Is the Pac12 just gonna abandon football every time there's a petition? Lol, that was a complete non-story in the grand scheme of things.

I'll say it again, the MAJORITY of players want to play. Period.

syracuse and pittsburgh skipped practice over virus concerns. florida state players expressing concerns.

so far, not a peep out of the SEC and the BIG 12 so that conference has "them boys" hushed up real good and just going about "they bizness"

              ya dig ??

North Dakota State postpones fall 2020 season with hopes of playing spring schedule.

If he goes pro, Trey Lance would have the fewest collegiate pass attempts for a first rounder since 2000 with 288. Justin Fields (393) would have the third fewest.

...As a redshirt freshman in 2019, Lance started all 16 games, won the Walter Payton Award and Jerry Rice Award, as well as being named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2020 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game...

Lincoln Riley let OU players go home. Only 25% of players left campus, but nine of those that left came back & tested positive. STRONG evidence players are much safer on campus than off campus.

When campuses are full of the regular coeds that might change

Does that tell you how f**king STUPID College Football Players really are? What you are saying is that these players should be put in cages, like the Gorillas they are, and not be let out until you are through with them. They obvious do not have a f**king brain in their heads. Unfortunately, neither does Lincoln Riley and all of the other dumb s**t HC's who think it is safe to play in the fall.
