I don't like taking that much juice, but deGrom has a .269 OBP against the Marlins potential lineup. Would have taken the RL, but the Marlins are gritty and the Mets bullpen can be shitty. (It rhymes!)

In 88 plate appearances against the Marlins potential lineup, deGrom has K'd 29.55% of them. Of the 21 hits the Marlins have gotten against him, 42.86% have been for extra bases, almost half. Marlins potentially could pull off a crooked number in an inning against him. Joe Berti is his biggest culprit getting 3 of the extra base hits with a 1.083 OPS against deGrom. Marlins have him batting 2nd in the lineup today.

you will never win in the bases betting games that high if you do it on a daily thing..............sure you can hit one big number and get out but that never happen to guys.

Jacob deGrom is clearly dealing with an issue on one of his fingers. He couldn’t find the plate that inning and had no ability to throw the slider for a strike. Bases loaded, one out, but of course he gets out of it unscathed. He’s unbelievable.
