They should be up. BOL had them up for a long time.

Will Hill in Nevada down to +700 for Ohtani, in 2nd place behind Trout at +200 for AL MVP. Trout has stayed in the lead, he was about +250 a month ago, but Ohtani has steadily climbed.

Online I would think we see it at BOL or even BAS at least in the early morning, but not sure actually.

He gives up runs then makes up for it all by himself.

Maybe there's an exploitable OVER situation here. Maybe the market has it built in. Let's see.

This season he was in an OVER on 4/4 against White Sox. The line opened and closed at 9, the score was 7-4. Then he pitched on 4/20

against Texas and the game went UNDER. The line was 8.5 the score was 6-2; that game had an opener of 9.

Last year there were two games as well and both went OVER. In Oak it was a 6-4 game with a line of 9 (open and close) and against Hou in an 11 point game with a line of 10. That 10 point OVER had an opener of 9.5.

So in 4 games he is 3-1 to the OVER and in two games with movement both line movements were in the direction of the result.

In his only UNDER it was .5 points below the line but the OVERS last year were each 1 run OVER the line and this year 2 runs over the line.

Small sample size but it could be something to keep an eye on, especially if you already think the posted line is borderline low and you are considering an OVER on his next start.

To determine any adjustments, I wouldn't evaluate the pitching aspect of all of that until we've seen a hefty amount of pitches.

By hefty I mean perhaps as many as nine 9 inning sets of innings pitched.

So about 81 innings pitched. Will take awhile for him to accumulate that many pitches but I'm not sure I have a better way.

Ohtani getting through 5 innings is another good sign. I'd like to see him get through 6 innings, but that damn "middle reliever" is a ball busting trend.

Point being the more innings he gets down, not only the more we can test for the OVER, but the more his contribution to the TOTAL. That simplifies the overall patch of forest.
