Am i a chump or genius?
    Can you help me?
Im betting on the end of day stock market even/odd. About twenty huge companies Like Amazon, Walmart, Boeing etc.

I dont feel like i can lose, im getting +105, to + 120 odds.

The catch is my friend (a degen) is laying the bets. He thinks he has the edge over me because in his mind he has seen some sort of system or pattern that makes him know how the stock will look (even or odd) at the end of the day.
We stop betting a half hour before the market closes. Ive checked and these stocks update every twelve seconds or so. I cant possibly see how he could have an edge on this.

Can you help me in deciding in betting this? I cant see how i could not have EV, but im open to suggestions.
Is it possible to predict this? I dont think so.

Thank you for reading and have a good day : )

Yes I am, is this a bad thing? if so, why?

its not for a significant amount of money, or are you worried he has the best of it and i will lose almost always?

Please help me to understand who is making the better bets, thank you in advance

          I did that, thank you : )
Im not seeing anything there that relates to my question though.
What do you think? do you think the end of day market even/odd can be predicted?

Its hard to know for sure, thats for sure

If it’s not a lot of money then why the bleep are you so concerned about this, let the proposition ride definitely no legitimate way to tell if you are getting true odds or who has the advantage.

PS your friend probably doesn’t know shit about shit. in this spot you’re the bookie & that’s advantage in itself.

Beat the Jerk: thank you for your help, i think you are right, its just so unlikely that he could predict the end of day even/ odd an hour in advance as the ticker changes every twelve seconds. I think he is just data mining in a way that he just sees what he wants to see

thank you again and good luck : )
